My debt has bounced around to several different law firms and the new one is trying to make me pay 400 a month until I pay it off. If I don’t they said I would be served. Is this threat real and how often do they come after people this hard. I basically have nothing they could put a lien on as I am still in huge financial trouble.

Obviously checks are just paper. You can write as many as you want, but it’s still paper.

This is similar to the Federal Reserve printing dollars. Dollar bills aren’t backed by anything of value….they’re paper. But when the govt. needs to pay for something it can’t afford they monetize debt (“print” money). Well just because you have more paper dollars doesn’t mean you have any more money. It just means each paper dollar is worth less than it was before you printed all the new ones.

The collection agency wants me to get a student loan and settle at the origional debt of $6,000. He is sending me in writting now that the debt will show paid in full on my credit report. Is it wise for me to do this or would I be a fool?

I have a very common last name, so could they possibly be calling everyone in my state with the same last name? Or do they actually have some type of proof that so and so is my relative? I forgot to mention that my relatives have no relation to my debt. They were never co-signers or ever listed with any of my finances.
