I just received my credit report and it only gives me the information for the original creditor not the company who purchased the debt. I contacted the original creditor and they told me that they couldn’t find my info. The debt is valid from about 2005 with capital one and I am trying to get in contact with whoever I need to pay to settle.

I am about $15,000 in debt and need to get out of it quickly… What’s the best way to do this without sacrificing too much (I like to go out with my friends at least once a week)? Also, a second job is not an option because I work A LOT at my current job and asking for a raise is not an option either because I just got one at the first of the year…

We are only making two thousand dollars a month.
Any answers will be much appreciated!

I have a mortgage, car payment, and 10 credit card bills and the other day I went to the bank and took out an $80,000 loan to pay it all off but now I have to pay off the $80,000 and still have a good chunk of my mortgage left.

What do I do, how exactly do I spend my way out of debt? Should I get another loan?

I have $30,000 of student loans. I am in grad school and still have one year to go. My field, library sciences, does not guarantee work, especially in this economy. I am training to be an EMT basic. This pays $15 per hour to start. I dont want to take out any more loans but I fear that I might have to in order to keep my other loans in deferrment. I live in my own apartment and don’t have parents to move back in with.
