Has anyone used Federated Financial Counseling Services, Corp (out of Florida) to help with Debt Consolidation? They are based in Deerfield Beach-Florida. Are they a good company to work with? Are the reputable & trust-worthy?

I’ve tried dealing with my creditors, but they can’t help me.

Ok, I am about 4,000 dollars in debt right now and I need help getting out of it immediately. It’s not all credit card debt, one debt is a overdraft reserve line ($1,800) one is a missed payment that lead to cancellation of AT&T phone lines with multiple lines ($950) by USBANK checking account, an unauthorized transaction went through, then when i filed a report during the 45 day process of investigation the overdrawing grew to ($1,000) and my Chase Checking got overdrawn by my auto insurance ($250).

Now this is the part that sucks, I am an 18 year old college student with a crappy paying part time job, who can’t find a new or second job (lives in Colorado where NOBODY is hiring). If I don’t get my credit on track soon then I won’t be able to apply for school loans next year and won’t be able to go to school
. Please this is where I need help, now more than ever.
Oh my monthly income is only $300 dollars at best (like i said crappy paying job) so really any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I’ve heard good things about John Commuta’s plan to get out of debt. I’ve heard too that once you go through it, you realize it’s a lot of common sense. But, all that aside, can anyone give some feedback on the program? Was it hard to understand, or was it fairly straight-forward?
