consolidate all your debts. use cccs at. they will negotiate your rate to almost nil with your creditors. cut all your current credit cards. use cash only.
Get rid of th ethings you THINK you need.
Examples:
Sat TV
Cable TV
Cell Phone
High Speed Interenet (except where you can get 128K for 30 a month or less.
Move into cheaper rent. IE move from apartment or sell house buy less expensive one..
Buy a car pay cash and get rid of your car payment..

There are some great companies out there please be aware of the pros and cons on each and every program anything you do except pay your creditors 100% will hit your credit for a while. Credit can be rebuilt. . If you have collections you certainly do not want to place them in a program that will charge you more interest then what you have already paid or secure that debt to something when it is unsecured and already has shown on your credit report.
