What im coming at is, do we now owe China something since they bailed us out? Is this a type of imperialism, something as simple as the power of kindness and now we owe it to them and shall help them? Can you also explain to me the whole ordeal to how this happened?

First, China did not and cannot bail out US. This is because no nation will be allowed by US to do it. Besides, anti-China feeling was pumped up so high in US, it is simply out of question for China to do it.
Second, China buys US treasury bills (debt). But every nation buys US treasury bills. This includes Japan, UK, Russia, etc. etc. and China’s amount in it is only at about 20-25% of total US debt.
Third, US can print money US dollars—which is used all over the world. But China cannot print any currency that can be used in the world. So to answer your question, China CANNOT gain control over the USA.

Misleading.
China did not bail out US,
US would not allow it.
