Who is going to give me the money I need to spend my way out of debt?

President Obama has established the plan of spending to get out of debt and end this recession. That is exactly what his “stimulus” plan is. So who is going to give me the money I need to spend my way out of my personal recession and debt?
Craig, tried and true? When and by who? And did you know that $45 billion of road and highway improvements were cut out of the bill?

And working for the government has never, NEVER EVER stimulated an economy. Ask Russia.
Cookie Monster, Thanks for actually understanding what I am saying here. Clearly, many of those who are responding have really got no clue about sarcasm. Clearly, they do not understand the concept of demonstrating the absurd by being absurd.

All the hard working people I guess. Some lady goes to Obama’s sales pitch, cries and says I need a house with a kitchen. WHAMO- she got one! ON US!
Thats not fair! We worked our ***** OFF to get a education and get good jobs. So the lazy people get FREE houses- while we pay our mortgages and hers!

Obviously you have no clue of economics. Government spending on infrastructure is a tried and true method of jump starting a lagging economy.

Your personal recession should be handled by yourself. I can STILL go on to JobReccommendations.com and find people hiring so you have no reason to be jobless or anything. Any job can support a $350 apartment and you dont need Internet and your Cell phone. If you have time to be one Y!A at 8:00 you have more than enough time to be job hunting. Any sort of financial trouble your in is your own fault im sure.

Haha! Doesnt make sense that to fix an over spending problem, we spend more!

That is often called a “scholarship.” One spends money now, but going to college or getting training, in order to improve one’s economic position in the future. I hope this helps with your question.

the company you work for.
the way i pay for my stuff is i have a job, i only buy things when i have money.
so you need to get a job, use the money to support yourself , do not buy anything you can’t pay for and you will be good to go.
how does it matter if the deficit is 11 or 12 trillion? would you prefer we give the trillion to china so then we only owe 10 trillion? the numbers are ridiculous and mean whatever you want them to mean.

Good question. This “new wave” of representatives we were in such a hurry to send to Washington have either never studied U.S. history or they are asking advice from socialist economists.
This “stimulous” package is basically robbing Peter to pay Paul. Never works in a family budget, never works in business, and it won’t work in our national economy.
Tax credit for every nickel private citizens spend on reducing personal debt should have been item #1. That would at least be a start.

Nobody and no agency. You and the government will stay in debt until you die, when your debt will simply become a tax write off. By the way, working for the government does pay well, and soon the government will be the only employer left.
